"Common sense man, do you really believe that a crook will give you time to draw your piece? That is not an anti gun statement, its just common sense. It might make you feel safer but it ain't really gonna help against a real bad guy."

I can draw and fire before they process what is happening. "Wait, let me get my wallet for you.........BANG" Those who have done robberies in Orange County who aren't from there have admitted in interviews that they went to Orange b/c of the easier victims. That would be a fact.

I am sure there is a perfectly good explanation. Like...jail is cheaper than life.

Why not let the tax payer cover your food, rent, cable and transportation costs. They might have physically robbed only 2 people...but people like this will be stealing our hard earned $ until the day we die.

"Come on, we know it wasnt the violent music they listen to that made this happen. This is from years of growing up in a culture that exposes them to these kind of things on a daily basis."

And I'm sure Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and Farrakhan, are all doing everything they can to change the culture they are exposed to. Yeah, Right!

"i love how people here blame the economy for these criminals. yeah, cause from the looks of these three they obviously have just been laid off from bear stearns or merrill lynch. give me a break."

Exactly. I dont think these people just got laid off, this was not a entry level crime. People that hold other people up at gunpoint are not "trying it out" or "making ends meet". They feel that they are entitled to things because they are not afraid to use a weapon.

I was joking when i said its the rap music. Come on, we know it wasnt the violent music they listen to that made this happen. This is from years of growing up in a culture that exposes them to these kind of things on a daily basis.

This has nothing to do with the economy, but everything to do with being lazy, dumb, and probably on probation which doesn't seem to be a big deal anymore.
