Raleigh, N.C. — A man working on his car in southeast Raleigh was hit by a passing motorist Friday night. The driver of the car remained at the scene while the person he hit was taken to WakeMed where he was listed in serious but stable condition.
Authorities did not release the name of either of the people involved.
Rock Quarry Road near Lyndhurst Drive was closed for a couple of hours while police investigated the scene.
