Man sought in Randolph County assault, kidnapping

— A man attacked his in-laws and kidnapped his estranged, pregnant wife from a Thomasville home early Tuesday, according to the Randolph County Sheriff's Office.

Wanda Myers, of 7050 Sink Farm Road, called 911 Tuesday at 1:39 a.m. to report that Charles O’Brien Teague had forced himself into her home, assaulted her and her husband with a knife and forced Myers' daughter, Miranda Teague, to leave with him. According to her mother, Miranda Teague was estranged from the suspect and is 8½ months pregnant.

Wanda and Cecil Myers were taken to High Point Hospital for treatment of their injuries.

The suspect was believed to be driving a red 2000 Dodge Neon with N.C. licence plate RWD-6188. He was wanted on charges of attempted murder, first-degree burglary and kidnapping.

    A man broke into a home early this morning, stabbed two people and left with his pregnant wife, deputies said.

    May the police officers find this criminal very soon before he bring harm to the girl and unborn child. If you know where he is call the police NOW! Hopefully the girl and unborn child will not be harm. We they do catch him, put him in jail and I hope the judge and jury will give him about 10 years.
