Cary police officers are searching for a man who stole a flat screen TV from Colonial Baptist Church, 6051 Tryon Road, on Dec. 12.

CARY, N.C. — Cary police officers are searching for a man who stole a flat screen TV from Colonial Baptist Church, 6051 Tryon Road, on Dec. 12.

During the church’s Christmas program, the man came in through a side door, removed a flat screen TV from the wall in one of the classrooms and left the building, according to police.

Surveillance video shows the man walking around the church for about 30 minutes before committing the crime.

The man is about 26-29 years old, 5 feet 9 inches to 6 feet tall and 250 pounds. He was wearing a green sweatshirt, blue coat, blue jeans and white tennis shoes.
