Man sought for questioning in fatal Fayetteville shooting

Fayetteville detectives are searching for a 37-year-old man who may have information regarding a homicide at a house used for illegal liquor sales.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville detectives are searching for a 37-year-old man who may have information regarding a homicide at a house used for illegal liquor sales.

Investigators said several people were shot early Sunday during a party at 357 Dick St.

Ivery Montreat Elliott, 34, of the 6800 block of Marlowe Drive, was killed. Brandon Alexander Siermons, 22, of the 500 block of Spaulding Street, and Winfred Terell Lesane, 22, of the 1600 block of Gilmore Street, were wounded.

Detectives are searching for Demetrius Shawn Hill, 37, of the 1100 block of Jossie Street.

Anyone with information regarding the homicide investigation or the whereabouts of Hill is asked to call police at 910-549-7326 or Crime Stoppers at 910-483-8477.
