The saddest part of this story is the fact that no one even mentions what might have been the motive in this case. How do you expect people to respect each other when you have not even given them hope. Where do young men go to better their lives. Everything is too expensive to start from scratch. Reach out and give your time to these young people and show them how they can improve their lives through hard work and faith in God.

Hokiedokie.....you said it all, I agree. Two lives wasted. Two families hurting.

You know, when I'm at Southpointe I forget that I'm in Durham...

You made me mad...bang bang you are dead! Why are they using guns? Does the shooter think it won't really kill? It's not a video game. The guns are real, the blood is real, the death is real. Another senseless death, another wasted life will be sent to prison.

Not one bit surprised. There has always been crime and will always be crime.

The killings will stop, when certain people stop carrying unlicense guns!

  • wildcat Apr 26, 2011

May they find the killer soon. My condolences to the family and many friends. May God/Jesus continue to comfort all of you.

Ok, So it wasn't AT Southpoint Mall, but within a mile or so of it....
How does one say, "in an area where you wouldn't expect shootings."
Really?? If a shooting occurs in the triangle, 90%-95% of the time it IS in Durham.

definitely not South Point mall...as one person already said, if you view your maps correctly, its on the North side of I40
