Detectives seek persons of interest in Fayetteville shooting

— One man was severely injured after a shooting at a house party early Sunday.

Officers with the Fayetteville Police Department responded to a shooting at a house on the 1800 block of Wendover Drive around 12:50 a.m.

Uronde Hardin, 20, was shot and transported to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center with life threatening injuries. According to officials, the incident occurred in the street in front of the home.

Hardin was transferred to UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill Sunday afternoon, where he was in critical condition.

Detectives obtained surveillance images from a gas station located at 1764 Ireland Drive before and after the shooting.

    Just down the street from me. I heard a load firecracker. Next door neighbor said her heard three shots then the firecracker. Then, two cars flew down the street.He was outside taking on cell phone and smoking . But,there was a one killed at 5am on Rim Road. Need to look at these parties.
