Man shot on Raleigh street

Police said Phillip Gervin-Brimage, 19, was wounded in the lower back and elbow when he was shot just after 7 p.m.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police are investigating a shooting that happened Wednesday evening outside 102 S. Swain St. The victim was reported to be in good condition Thursday morning.

Police said Phillip Gervin-Brimage, 19, was wounded in the lower back and elbow when he was shot just after 7 p.m. outside that address.

EMS workers took Gervin-Brimage to WakeMed, where he was reported to be in good condition.

Police asked anyone with information about the shooting to call Crime Stoppers at 919-226-CRIME (226-2743).
