A man was shot in southeast Raleigh early Friday, police said.

The shooting took place on Rawls Drive, off Poole Road, around 3:35 a.m.
The victim, whose name wasn't released, was taken to the hospital. An update on his condition wasn't available.
Police said they were still searching for the gunman.
