Raleigh police are investigating a shooting that happened early Friday near the intersection of Pender Street and St. Augustine Avenue. 

<b>RALEIGH, N.C.</b> — Raleigh police are investigating a shooting that happened early Friday morning near the intersection of Pender Street and St. Augustine Avenue. 

A man was shot in the leg on Pender Street just after 3 a.m., police said. He was not in a house. 

He was taken to WakeMed Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. 

There are no suspects and police are still investigating the shooting.
