Durham police said a man was shot at Massey Avenue and Fayetteville Street around 3 a.m. Sunday.

<b>DURHAM, N.C.</b> — Durham police said a man was shot at Massey Avenue and Fayetteville Street around 3 a.m. Sunday.

The man, whose identity wasn't released, was shot in the neck with a small handgun, police said. He underwent surgery at Duke University Hospital, and his condition was stable early Monday.

Police said they have not identified any suspects.
