Raleigh police: Man shot multiple times in back

A 44-year-old man was shot multiple times in the back Friday night, according to Raleigh police.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A 44-year-old man was shot multiple times in the back Friday night, according to Raleigh police.

The shooting happened around 8:30 p.m. at 720 Quarry St. When officers arrived, they found Brian Hinton with multiple gunshot wounds.

Hinton was taken to WakeMed to be treated.

Two homes in the area, 716 Quarry St. and 724 Quarry St., were also hit by bullets.

The suspect fled the scene.
