"Breeding ground" sounds like an argument in favor of nature, as if it's inevitable and there's no way to fix any of it. Considering the economic conditions and racial make-up of both cities, it's not a big leap from what you said to racism, prejudice, and apathy toward your fellow human beings.

That is twisting the posters words. The post was very accurate.

Then Raleigh is fast becoming its twin. They have hit the headlines as much if not more than Durham lately with shootings, stabbing and sexual assaults. Love the ignorance of Durham bashers who are blind to rising crime in all the counties. Hope this person recovers well from their injuries.

There are several safe hotels in Durham, however none of them are on hwy 55.

"Durham is simply a breeding ground for crime. Take your pick...Durham or Fayetteville. Tough choice huh?"

You know, that part of town could really use a shot in the arm.

I would never put an out of town visiter for work in ANY hotel in durham. Stay by the airport or in Cary where it is much safer. I do not want their harm on my shoulders.

It's Durham area, and a $29 motel room. Not much good is gonna happen with that combo.

What is going on at this hotel? There have been several shootings and other incidents at this location of the last few years. I think the Durham Police need to look into who's running this place and why so much criminal activity goes on there.
