Man shot behind Fayetteville convenience store

— A man was shot in the arm behind a Fayetteville convenience store Wednesday afternoon, police said.

The victim was standing behind Quick-n-Go Discount Tobacco, 5320 Murchison Road, at about 3:25 p.m. when an unknown person in a black Cadillac sedan pulled into the store parking lot, exited the vehicle, produced a handgun and shot the man, police said. The suspect then fled on Murchison Road towards Spring Lake.

Investigators did not release any further information about the shooting.

    I'm pretty sure he didn't "produce" and gun. I love how people use words like that. He didn't make it or cause it to come into existence. He merely revealed that he had one by pulling it out of some place.
