I live on Pine Knoll Dr. right behind this shopping center (actually on the other side of Pine Knoll), and I had no idea there was any kind of night club in there. I had gone to Charlotte for the day, and by the time I got home it was about 3:00am. I was shocked when I saw the number of cars in the parking lot. It was completely packed...more cars than during the day when the "normal" businesses are open. I had no clue what was going on, and when I got out of my car I could hear the loud "thump thump thump" of music. I couldn't believe the people that live directly behind the place were actually able to sleep. When I got in my house I could still hear the music thump thump thumping away. I considered calling the police about the noise, but I was dead tired and couldn't hear it back in the bedroom so didn't call. Now I kinda wish I had called...maybe the shooting wouldn't have happened if the cops had showed up earlier.

Exposure102- Thanks for the re-post, sorry for the hostility but it irritates me that we are surrounded by such ignorance, people shooting one another over stupid things. No less the person didn,t have the nuts to shoot the man while he was looking at him face to face, our society is failing to instill the value of life in our youth today. It has nothing to do with music, tv or video games....its the parents.... Society seems to be setting the bar lower and lower for whats acceptable and whats not. Raleigh tries to lead on like we have a beautiful oasis of a capital city were children frolic and play with out worrie... its just not that way anymore... Our justice system is failing us, our jails are over crowded...and the police are stuck in the middle.... if your a good cop that wants a long career, you have a choice to make, up hold the law with out question or use moral judgment in your pursuit of the law. unfortunately if you chose the latter of the two, wont be employed you long.

tattoo3217 - sounds like I may have mistaken the crowd outside the unknown "Juicee's" for Rock N Roll patrons...thanks for posting the name, that's a big help.

For the record, there is a nightclub of sorts next to Rock n Roll Tattoo by the name of "Juicee's." Reinforcing the stereotype from an earlier comment, apparently it was a bunch of hood rats shooting at each other during the hours that "Juicee's" operates (between 2am-6am). Rock 'N' Roll Tattoo has absolutely no affiliation with this hood establishment. Furthermore, any ignorant comments should be kept to themselves unless they have valid information. As for the "rough crowd" at the tattoo shop, I'm positive they don't need guns to sort out any issues they may have.

    picsatexhibition,

We know it happens. . . yet we're powerless to stop them from influencing public perception.

"If this "nightclub" had any sort of affiliation with hip-hop music, there would be names, pictures, and many more details. However, since this story doesn't fit the typical nightclub violence stereotype, it will get swept under the rug...."

Actually, if you want to insert that element into this, the location is an after hours, hip hop themed, exotic dancer-filled club thats open fron 2-6. The name isnt listed because there's no name on the building. Its a word of mouth establishment.

Check your facts before giving something a Racial Bias stamp.
