Teen dies after Durham shooting

A 17-year-old wounded in a weekend shooting in Durham has died, police said Tuesday.

DURHAM, N.C. — A 17-year-old wounded in a weekend shooting in Durham has died, police said Tuesday.

Officers found Kaaylon Pamplin in the driver's seat of a vehicle at the intersection of Nebo Street and Burlington Avenue on Saturday morning.

He died at Duke University Hospital.

Police are searching for a red or burgundy Dodge Magnum with tinted windows in connection with the shooting.

Anyone with information about the car or the shooting is asked to call the Durham Police Department or Crime Stoppers at 919-683-1200.
