Police seek car in Durham teen's shooting

Durham police were searching Monday for a red or burgundy Dodge Magnum with tinted windows in connection with the shooting of 17-year-old Kaaylon Pamplin.

DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police were searching Monday for a red or burgundy Dodge Magnum with tinted windows in connection with the shooting of 17-year-old Kaaylon Pamplin.

Officers found Pamplin with gunshot wounds around 11:15 a.m. Saturday in the driver's seat of a vehicle at the intersection of Nebo Street and Burlington Avenue.

He was taken to Duke Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, police said, but his condition was not available Monday.

No arrests have been made.
