Man's body found in Durham house

— Police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found Monday morning inside a Durham home.

The unidentified man was found shortly after 10 a.m. at 4424 Regis Ave., police said.

Police haven't released any information about a possible cause of death, but they have called the death suspicious.

Investigators spent much of the day at the home collecting evidence.

Neighbors said police have told them there is no reason they should be concerned for their safety. They said the man who lived in the house is a beloved part of the community.

Family members who gathered at the scene trying to learn anything they could about what happened declined to comment.

    It's considered suspicious if there are no supporting factors for a natural death. It could be a domestic situation. C'mon guys and girls, every death/homicide isn't committed by some random maniac!
