Man Robbed Outside Cary Bank

CARY, N.C. — Cary police are looking for a man who robbed someone at gunpoint at a Cary bank Saturday afternoon.

A man from an Apex convenience store was making a night deposit at the Wachovia on Kildaire Farm and Tyron roads about 1 p.m. when the robber showed a handgun, demanded the money and fled the scene, police said.

Police say the person was wearing dark colored jeans and a belt buckle with the words “Dirty South” in red letters.
