No wild west. I bet 99.999% of people leaving a bar have no gun and 75% of those are drunk. Perfect people to rob.

"Its the perfect place to rob people. You cant carry a gun in the bar so most are not armed."

By that definition, EVERYPLACE is the perfect place to rob people. There are only 225,000 concealed carry permits in NC and over 9 million people.

No. If I was going to 42nd Street Oysterbar I would have to leave my gun in the car, because I cannot take it into the establishment. So anyone leaving a bar is a prime target. Maybe drunk and no gun.

yeah, can't carry a gun in a bar. Ok. concealed means concealed. If you carry it, no one but you should know, and if you need it, it isn't concealed anymore!

More common sense is needed in this world. I know that if I am in a section know for street urchins in Raleigh and ALL of Durham, I will be prepared for the worse, not looking for trouble, but aware of my surroundings.

That's very rare for something like that to happen around Glenwood south bar district, especially with the HEAVY police presence around there.

we need to shoot back, some of the criminals might think before trying to rob us. I need to eat out downtown more often, more of us gun toting victims might help turn the tide on the robbery situation.

Where they white , black , pink, So discription of these people, Its funny how the news does selective writing. It pretty bad when you have to worry about what you write. And the criminals have more rights then the victims whats the country coming to

Another shooting in Raleigh and its almost becoming expected lately. Whats with the jump all of a sudden with shootings, stabbings and robberies in crime free Raleigh..
I had my car broken into twice in Raleigh so far and buddy also robbed by gunpoint there. I feel safer in Durham and never had any issue in 24yrs of living there.
