A Rocky Mount man told police he was playing basketball in a park Sunday afternoon when four men carrying handguns robbed him.

<b>ROCKY MOUNT, N.C.</b> — A Rocky Mount man told police he was playing basketball in a park Sunday afternoon when four men carrying handguns robbed him.

Police said Monday that Donald Jones was at 517 Ravenwood Drive when four unidentified men approached him around 2:30 p.m. Two of the men brandished handguns and took Jones' cell phone.

They then fled on foot toward the 500 block of Starlingway Drive, police said. Officers searched the area but didn't find any suspects.

Descriptions of the robbers were not available.
