Man reported missing in Durham involved in Cary wreck

Durham, N.C. — A missing Durham County man who is believed to be cognitively impaired was taken to a hospital Sunday morning after a wreck on N.C. Highway 55, according to the Durham County Sheriff's Office.
Herbert Daiker Johnson was the subject of an early morning Silver Alert after he disappeared Saturday night from a home in the 900 block of Royal Oak Drive in Durham.
Authorities said he was involved in a wreck in Cary. He was treated on scene for minor injuries and then taken to a local hospital for observation.
No other information about his disappearance has been released.
