He plead guilty... that is why he didn't get that much time. As the daughter-in-law of a murdered man, it is easier for the family not to have to relive everything so long after it actually happened. The man who killed my father-in-law also went to Dorothea Dix and was released to stand trial. But, you are not sure whether he will regain competency or not. This way the family has closure and he has admitted guilt by pleading. It is not fair always, but sometimes it is best for the families involved.

151 to 191 months in prision..there we go again...that so much less than what he deserves. This ladys husband has to be without her for the rest of his life....why can't he get life too....that was premeditated then he held someone at gunpoint. Our judician system or whatever they call themselves is so questionable these days! Repeated drunk drivers get off too easy then they go right back out again. HOPEFULLY A CHANGE WILL COME IN OUR STATE AS WELL AS THE UNITED STATES
