The Wake County Sheriff’s Office is responding to a water rescue involving a boat on Harris Lake. One person was already taken to the hospital while authorities search for any others involved.

Authorities said that a pick-up truck driven by Charles Franklin Wood was traveling north on Boyette Road when John Milton Stanley pulled out in front of the vehicle on a dirt bike.

<b>JOHNSTON COUNTY, N.C.</b> — One man was killed Wednesday night after a crash involving a truck and a dirt bike.

Stanley, 48, who lived in the nearby Upchurch Trailer Park, was killed.

Authorities said Wood will not be charged in connection with the incident.
