Man, large pool of blood found inside Bay City home

Officers were called on Monday, June 26 at about 4:08 p.m. to a home in the 200 block of Lafayette in Bay City. The caller told dispatch a man was found possibly dead with blood all over the apartment.

When officers arrived they found a 54-year-old man dead inside the home. There was also a large amount of blood as reported.

The incident was treated as a crime scene as detectives and technicians responded. A search warrant was also obtained and evidence was collected from the home.

At this time, the incident is under investigation but investigators have found no evidence of foul play.

Investigators said the man lived alone and had a long history of medical conditions.
