— Fort Bragg officials said a Virginia man died Tuesday morning when a dump truck collided with a minivan on the post.

The minivan's drive, Harry Shade, 65, was turning from Woodburn Drive onto Honeycutt Road around 9 a.m. when the wreck occurred, according to the Public Affairs Office at Fort Bragg.

Shade, of Centreville, Va., was transported to Womack Army Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

The North Carolina State Highway Patrol is investigating the case.
