Fayetteville police have charged one man and are searching for three more suspects in a fatal shooting at Upscale Restaurant and Lounge last year.

Marvin Hakeem Johnson, 23, of Tangora Lane in Fayetteville, faces second-degree murder charges in the Nov. 18 shooting death of Terry Jamil Jefferson, 22.

Johnson was in the Cumberland County jail on unrelated charges Wednesday when police served him with arrest warrants for Jefferson's death. His bond was set at $500,000.

Two brothers – Taneill Laquin Jefferson, 19, of Orange Street in Fayetteville, and Travis Edward Jefferson, 18, of Newark Avenue in Fayetteville – are both wanted on charges of attempted first-degree murder and assault with a dangerous weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury for allegedly shooting at Johnson during the scuffle at the lounge, at 225 S. Eastern Blvd.

It wasn't clear whether the men are also related to Terry Jefferson.

Divine Iquan Alston, 20, of Gilmore Street in Fayetteville, is wanted on a charge of accessory after the fact to assault with a dangerous weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.

Neither Alston, Taneill Jefferson or Travis Jefferson was in custody Wednesday.

Anyone with information on the shooting or the suspects' whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 910-483-8477.

Sure hope they find them quick, because there ain't no telling how many more felony they're involved in.

These individuals need long jail sentences without judges reducing the punishment. They have to be removed from the streets so they do not cause anymore mayhem.
