Man killed in hit-and-run on U.S. 1
A hit-and-run along U.S. Highway 1 killed a 54-year-old pedestrian, a half-mile outside Henderson Sunday morning, state troopers said.
Posted — UpdatedHENDERSON, N.C. — A hit-and-run on U.S. Highway 1 killed a 54-year-old pedestrian, a half-mile outside Henderson, Sunday morning, state troopers said.
Robert Fletcher Grissom was killed while walking along the highway, reportedly with another person, around 5:20 a.m.
Troopers were searching for a small red vehicle with damage to the front side to the windshield.
