Fayetteville, N.C. — Police have identified a suspect in connection with the death of Dashaun Damone Kelly, 19, who was gunned down in a Fayetteville street over the weekend.
Darren Tre Bridges, 19, faces one count of first-degree murder. He was not in custody as of Monday afternoon.
Bridges, of Bone Creek Drive in Fayetteville, is black, 5 feet 9 inches tall and about 130 pounds. His left forearm bears a tattoo of the word "Loyalty."
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911 or Crime Stoppers at 910-483-8477.
Officers responding to a call about a shooting and a large crowd found Kelly lying in Green Valley Road, dead from an apparent gunshot wound, about 2 a.m. Saturday.
