Man killed in Fayetteville hit-and-run

Police are seeking information about a fatal hit-and-run crash Sunday morning in Fayetteville.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Police are seeking information about a fatal hit-and-run crash Sunday morning in Fayetteville.

Investigators say Dwight Donald Fredricks, 43, was out for his morning walk on Cedar Creek Road when he was struck by a vehicle near Fields Road shortly after 5:30 a.m. The driver left the scene.

Anyone who witnessed the crash or has any information is asked to call police at 910-433-1036 or Crime Stoppers at 910-433-TIPS.
