Man, 27, killed in Durham shooting

A 27-year-old Durham man died Monday evening after being shot multiple times on Fayetteville Street, police said.

DURHAM, N.C. — A 27-year-old Durham man died Monday evening after being shot multiple times on Fayetteville Street, police said. 

Officers responding to a call on Fayetteville Street near Burlington Avenue about 6:30 p.m. found Maurice Frank Streeter in a parking lot. 

Streeter was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said. 

No charges have been filed.
