"the America I knew is gone"

Thank God for that. Times change, and I heard that way before I ever heard of an "Obama." Change is required for this country, and anything else for that matter, if they are to remain strong and relevant to the time and situation. We live in a global economy (hence, our job situation), so we must compete if we are to retain our leadership and greatness. We must always look forward, not back.

BTW, black people aren't the only "blessed" people. God doesn't show favorites.

it's not 'his economy', it's OUR economy. We are the potential customers, and corporations are the potential suppliers, who out of caution and/or greed, are refraining from Hiring back workers, who become the customers and make the economic machine active again. Until someone figures out how to get companies to HIRE again, things will look grim for a long time to come.

Hope and Change we can believe in. Not saying Obama has anything to do with it...except this is his economy and it is not good. The crime in Wake County is increasing...I am talking about armed robberies and similar cases.
