Man injured in south Raleigh shooting

Raleigh, N.C. — A man was taken to the hospital early Tuesday after being shot in the 1200 block of South Bloodworth Street, Raleigh police said.
Officers responding to the area at about 12:15 a.m. found Derrick Marquette Wilson, 35, with a gunshot wound to the upper chest. He was taken to WakeMed with serious injuries.
The man told investigators he was approached by four men who tried to rob him before being shot.
No arrests have been made.
