Man injured in shooting near Garner apartment complex

— A man suffered non-life-threatening injuries Wednesday evening after being shot in the 900 block of 7th Avenue in Garner, police said. 

Officers responded to the area, off Vandora Springs Road, about 10:15 p.m. 

Police have not released the injured man's name, and no arrests have been made. 

No other information was immediately available.

    I use to deliver pizzas in Garner 5 nights a week 4 pm to 11 pm I would go weeks without seeing a Garner Police car on the road . They spend more time @ Walmart, Kmart, Target ect then anyting

    We need a two strikes law in North Carolina similar to the one in Georgia. Get the career criminals off the streets.
