Man in wheelchair killed in Hoke hit-and-run
The State Highway Patrol asked the public for help Monday to identify the vehicle in a fatal hit-and-run near Raeford.

RAEFORD, N.C. — The State Highway Patrol asked the public for help Monday to identify the vehicle in a fatal hit-and-run near Raeford.
Anthony Walker, 43, was in a wheelchair at about 7:30 p.m. last Thursday when he was struck by a northbound vehicle on N.C. Highway 211 near Downer Road in Hoke County, authorities said.
The vehicle left the scene after the collision.
Walker was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, where he died.
