Man found murdered in Hope Mills home

Hope Mills, N.C. — The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office is investigating the homicide of a man found dead Friday inside a Hope Mills home.
Authorities did not say how Christopher Jackson died or why they believe his death is suspicious.
Jackson, 26, lived in Fayetteville at 4020 Bammel Drive, but he was found in a home in the 4100 block of Hattie Grey Avenue in Hope Mills.
His body will be sent to the state Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Raleigh for an autopsy.
