RALEIGH, N.C. — Police are trying to figure out how a man was injured outside a bar near Raleigh's historic Five Points neighborhood over the weekend.

Marvin Alberto Quinonez, 29, was found injured behind Churchill's Bar, at 1622 Glenwood Ave., around 1:40 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 13. He was taken to WakeMed.

As of Monday, Quinonez was still listed in critical condition.

Quinonez had been in the bar for a short time and became involved in a dispute and fight outside the bar, a police spokesman said.

Detectives have identified and found an individual involved in the fight, but no charges have been filed yet, police said Wednesday. The investigation is ongoing.

Co-workers said that Quinonez is a beloved bartender at Glenwood Grill.

Anyone with information that could assist police is asked to call Raleigh Crime Stoppers at 919-834-4357. Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards for anonymous tips that solve crimes.
