Man found in SUV was killed, Wilson police say
Donnie Morgan, 52, of 3287 White Oak Lane in Bailey, was found in a burgundy 2005 Chevrolet Equinox at about 4:30 a.m. Sunday.

WILSON, N.C. — Wilson police on Friday said they are calling the death of a man whose body was found in his SUV early Sunday morning a homicide, although they are not releasing many details about the case.
Donnie Morgan, 52, of 3287 White Oak Lane in Bailey, was found in a burgundy 2005 Chevrolet Equinox at about 4:30 a.m. Sunday. He was last seen leaving Buck's Western Saloon alone around 2 a.m., police said.
Morgan's family and police declined to comment Friday, but police are asking that anyone who might have seen the SUV between 2 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. to call the Wilson Police Department at 252-399-2323 or Crime Stoppers at 252-243-2255.
