FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — One man died Sunday after he was shot outside a home in a Fayetteville neighborhood.

Around 9 a.m., officers with the Fayetteville Police Department responded to a shooting outside a home along the 6500 block of Carswell Drive in the Fairfield Farms subdivision.

Authorities said Fahd Mjalli, 41, of the 500 block of West Summerchase Drive became involved in an argument with his nephew and business partner Mohammed Alradai. The argument escalated and Alradai shot Mjalli.

Mjalli was transported to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, where he died as a result of his injuries.

Alradai, 32, of the 6500 block of Carswell Drive, was charged with first-degree murder. He was being held at the Cumberland County Detention Center without bond.
