Man charged with supplying cocaine to Wayne County
A man who authorities described as a major drug dealer was arrested Thursday after a months-long investigation by the Goldsboro-Wayne County Interagency Drug Task Force.
Posted — UpdatedIgnacio Lopez Mujica, 36, of 149 Burke St. in Dudley, was charged with trafficking excess of 400 grams of cocaine, conspiracy to traffic in cocaine and one count of maintaining a dwelling for controlled substances. He was being held under a $3 million secured bond.
Investigators with the Wayne County Sheriff's Office said that Mujica supplied drugs to the Dudley, Goldsboro and Mount Olive area. Investigators seized nearly 1 kilogram of cocaine, more than $10,000 in cash and several vehicles.
Investigators said they expect to make more arrests in the case.
