Man charged with stealing from church

A Raleigh man was arrested Thursday and charged with breaking into a church five times this month, according to arrest warrants.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A Raleigh man was arrested Thursday and charged with breaking into a church five times this month, according to arrest warrants.

John Foster Warring, 20, of 6609 Lynndale Drive, was charged with five counts each of breaking and entering at a place of worship and larceny after breaking and entering.

Police said Warring broke into the First Assembly of God, at 3249 Blue Ridge Road, on Feb. 5, Feb. 6, Feb. 18, Wednesday and Thursday. A laptop computer and almost $300 in cash was stolen during the break-ins, according to warrants.
