Man charged with stealing beer from Walmart, gas station
A 42-year-old Knightdale man has been charged with a felony after repeatedly stealing beer from Walmart and a gas station in Zebulon, police said.

Chicago Brian Smith, of 1128 Massey Farm Road, is charged with habitual larceny.
Zebulon police say he stole a total of 28 cases of Budweiser and Bud Light between Oct. 8 and Nov. 2. Three of the incidents occurred at Walmart on East Gannon Avenue in Zebulon, and the fourth happened at a Sheetz gas station in Zebulon.
Smith was previously convicted of misdemeanor larceny in August 2015 and July 2015. He was being held in the Wake County jail Wednesday under a $50,000 bond.
