Durham, N.C. — A man arrested Monday in connection with a December robbery of a Durham bank was charged Tuesday in a second holdup, police said.
Anthony Clark, 49, of Driver Street, is charged with two counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon. He was being held Tuesday in the Durham County jail under a $750,000 bond.
Clark was initially charged with a Dec. 17 robbery of a SunTrust Bank branch at 2714 Erwin Road, and police later linked him to a Dec. 7 robbery of a Wells Fargo branch at 2000 W. Main St.
No one was injured in either robbery.
