Man charged with raping teen in Burlington
Authorities arrested and charged Antoine Antrowoon Williamson with one count of statutory rape Saturday evening in Alamance County.

Burlington police responded to an area between Sydney Avenue and Railroad Street Thursday afternoon in reference to a possible kidnapping case.
When authorities arrived they found a 15-year-old female who stated that she was the victim of a sexual assault. As a result of the investigation warrants were obtained for Williamson’s arrest.
Williamson, 29, was located at a traffic stop on N.C. Highway 49 near McCray Road.
Authorities said Williamson was being held at Alamance County Jail under a $75,000 secured bond.
