Man charged with murder of woman found in Raleigh apartment
Raleigh police charged Jeremy Beane, 34, Monday with the murder of an acquaintance inside a Raleigh apartment on Saturday.
Posted — UpdatedRALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police charged Jeremy Beane, 34, Monday with the murder of an acquaintance inside a Raleigh apartment on Saturday.
When police arrived at the Pines of Ashton complex off New Bern Avenue, they found Cheannell Marie Mickens, 43, dead at 3253-F Calumet Drive.
Beane was also inside the apartment, police said, and he had some injuries. Police called Mickens' death a "domestic situation" and declined to describe the injuries Beane suffered. He was treated at WakeMed and released.
