Man charged with murder in Wilson woman's death
A 28-year-old Wilson man has been charged in connection with the death of a 22-year-old woman who was found dead inside a home on Mercer Street Thursday afternoon, police said.

According to investigators, Eric Devon Hooker killed Courtney Caitlyn Rea. Hooker was charged with first-degree murder late Friday after being arrested Friday night by Wilson police.
Rea was found at about 3 p.m. Thursday in a home on Mercer Street.
No other information about Rea's death has been released. Hooker is the father of Rea's newborn child, authorities said.
