Man charged in infant's kidnapping

A Robeson County man has been charged with kidnapping a 3-month-old boy last week in a case that prompted a statewide Amber Alert.

LUMBERTON, N.C. — A Robeson County man has been charged with kidnapping a 3-month-old boy last week in a case that prompted a statewide Amber Alert.

Alex Locklear, 31, was arrested on Saturday and charged with first-degree kidnapping and larceny of a motor vehicle.

Zaccheus Clark was inside a 2005 Suzuki Forenza in the parking lot of a Kangaroo Citgo gas station in Pembroke Thursday evening when a man ordered the child's mother out of the vehicle and drove off, police said.

The boy was found, unharmed inside the vehicle, about an hour later.
