Man charged in Fayetteville driveway robbery

— Detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department's robbery unit arrested and charged a man in connection with a robbery last month on Harlow Drive.

La-amel Clarence Mcdougald, 26, of the 4600 block of Mt. Zion Church Road, in Maxton, has been charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and possession of stolen goods.

He is accused of robbing a woman in a driveway in the 400 block of Harlow Drive on May 17.

Mcdougald was arrested on Friday and is being held in the Cumberland County Detention Center on a $50,000 bond.

Detectives are now working to identify the two other suspects seen in surveillance images. The black Dodge Charger that detectives were seeking in connection with the investigation has been located.
