Man charged in fatal 2016 shooting at Goldsboro apartment complex
A 26-year-old man has been charged with murder in connection with a deadly Goldsboro shooting in October.

GOLDSBORO, N.C. — A 26-year-old man has been charged with murder in connection with a deadly Goldsboro shooting in October.
Officers responded to the 100 block of Astor Court just after 1 a.m. on Oct. 28 and found Shai Taylor Valentine, 21, dead behind an apartment complex.
Ormond Audre Cobb, who was already in custody at the Wayne County Detention Center for an unrelated attempted murder charge, was charged Thursday in connection with Valentine’s death.
Cobb is scheduled to appear in court Monday.
