Durham, N.C. — Police said Tuesday that they have charged a Durham man in connection with a fatal shooting Monday afternoon.
Brandon Tyrel Jones, 26, of Southpoint Crossing, is charged with murder in the death of Joey Derek Squire.
Officers responding to a reported disturbance at 2907 Bainbridge Drive found Squire, 24, in a breezeway with a gunshot wound. He later died.
